Join the UCCS Kraemer Family Library and Storytelling Professor, Dr. ‘Ilaheva Tua’one and tell your story at the 11th Annual Storytelling Contest: The Purr Storytelling Hour!

This year’s theme will be RESISTANCE, and we would love to hear your memorable RESISTANCE stories. Each story will be performed live in front of an eager audience that will choose three winners! Cash prizes will be given to the winners!

This year we will be joining with UCCS Theatre & Dance to bring the storytellers a special one-time storytelling workshop with Alex Harvey from the ReMemberers!

The Purr Storytelling Hour: RESISTANCE

Date & Time: Thursday, October 16th, 6 -8PM

(Beverage & Hors d’oeuvres at 5pm)

Location: KFL 2^nd Floor Library Apse
Prizes: 1st place $200, 2nd $150 3rd $100

Pre-Event Workshop (for all contestants): Storytelling Workshop with Alex Harvey
Saturday, October 11th  11AM  Osborn Theater at Ent Center (Pizzas will be provided)
