Have you ever wanted to learn what it is like to create your own game? 

In partnership with Garrett Partch and the Kraemer Family Library the ​Fellowship of Game Enthusiasts is excited to host our very first board game talk. Garrett is an accomplished board game tester and designer, whose work includes designing characters for Marvel's Villainous: Twisted Ambitions and Disney's Villainous: Sugar & Spite expansions. Garrett will give a talk detailing his journey into board game testing with Ravensburger, how he secured a tester role for Disney's board games, how he transitioned that role into a designer position, and insights into the industry process of designing games for mass production. A Q&A session for attendees to ask their own questions will follow Garrett's talk.

Garrett’s talk will begin at 1PM followed by the Q&A session which is estimated to end by 2:00PM, after which the Fellowship of Game Enthusiasts will meet as normal from 2:00-4:00PM to play board and card games. We will be featuring our club's new copy of the Villainous Marvel: Twisted Ambitions Expansion while playing.
