Just Talk: Hidden Figures In-Person

Please join us for a discussion of the book behind the new film Hidden Figures, which tells the story of African American female mathematicians working at NASA during the start of the space era. The discussion will take place in the main house of the Heller Center for the Arts and Humanities (directions here: http://www.uccs.edu/heller/contact-and-map.html).

The library has 10 copies of the book to give away in a drawing for registered attendees. Please register by January 25th to be eligible for the book lottery.

If there is enough interest the event organizers will arrange a trip to see the movie following the book discussion, on the evening of February 9th. (The film viewing is subject to the film being still being shown in a local theater on that date.) Attendees will pay for their own ticket and have the option of going out to dinner before the movie (also self-paid).
